The UHC is pleased to present Alex Quistberg, PhD, Research Scientist at the Harborview Injury Prevention & Research Center at the University of Washington. Dr. Quistberg's research lies at the intersection of road safety, physical activity, the built environment and transportation. His primary research interests are in developing methods and interventions that both promote walking and biking and reduce the risk of road injuries to pedestrians and cyclists, both domestically and globally. His talk is entitled "The Epidemiology of Safe and Active Transportation: Challenges and Opportunities."
